He has over 25 years of experience in the NHS and has been practising as a Plastic Surgery Specialist for over 18 years. He has a particular interest in skin surgery. Ear Pinning

Pinoplasty, also known as pinnaplasty or ear pinning, is a cosmetic surgical procedure to reshape and reposition protruding ears closer to the head, often performed on children and adults to improve self-confidence by creating more natural-looking ears. The surgery involves small incisions behind the ear to reshape the cartilage, sometimes by folding or removing some of it, bringing the ears into a more typical position against the skull.

Moles/Lipoma/Cysts

Mole, lipoma, and cyst removal are minor surgical procedures typically done under local anesthetic, involving excision (cutting out) the growth with a scalpel, curette (scooping), or cautery (heat) for moles/cysts, with closure via stitches, aiming for minimal scarring, though NHS coverage is limited for cosmetic reasons, making private removal common. The method depends on the lesion type, size, and location, with moles often shaved or excised for lab analysis, while lipomas are simply cut out, and cysts are removed with their sac to prevent recurrence, with aftercare involving stitch removal and scar support

Ear Lobe Repair

Ear lobe repair is a minor, quick surgical procedure done under local anesthetic to fix split, torn, or stretched earlobes caused by trauma or heavy earrings, involving removing damaged skin edges and stitching them back together for a natural shape, with minimal downtime and potential for re-piercing after several months.

Blepharoplasty- Eyelid Reduction

Blepharoplasty is eyelid surgery that removes excess skin, fat, and muscle from upper or lower eyelids to correct drooping, bags, and puffiness, improving appearance and sometimes vision if severe sagging obstructs sight, typically done under local anesthesia for cosmetic or functional reasons, with recovery involving swelling, bruising, and temporary discomfort managed with ice packs and drops

Scar Revision

Scar revision surgery improves the appearance, texture, and sometimes function of a scar by using various techniques, from simple topical treatments to complex surgery, to make it less noticeable, though a scar can't be completely erased
